As a kid I loved checking the mail. After getting off the school bus I couldn't wait for it to drive away so that I could cross the road to see if there were any goodies in that black box just for me.
There hardly ever were. My mom would give me the junk mail sometimes to appease me.
Fast forward many many years. I still love to check the mail, I don't necessarily love what is in it. I get giddy when there is a card or a package waiting for me on the porch. I mean actually giddy. I love it.
