DIY: Birthday Plate

My birthday is coming up, it is tomorrow to be precise. I decided I needed to make a little special plate. When you are the mom to three little ones who do not understand how much you love birthdays you have to do things for yourself. (Not complaining)
This plate was fun to make. Anything where I get to use the Cricut is fun to make.

To make this plate I used a plain plate that I picked up for pennies at a thrift store. I then picked out one of my favorite Cricut cartridges, Stamping. I also used my left over vinyl from this previous project and this one.
Measure the space where you want to attach your vinyl. Make sure it won't be too small or too large.
After cutting out your favorite images and/or words carefully attach them to the clean plate.
This plate is not dishwasher safe. It needs to be hand washed so that the vinyl stays intact.
Now go have a piece of cake. You can make an excuse that you are celebrating with me. That is if you need an excuse, I never need an excuse to eat cake.
