My birthday is coming up. The other day the husband beckoned me sit next to him on the couch. He wanted to show me something on the computer.
I have to admit I was a bit confused. He usually just calls out if he sees something funny or tells me a little fact he has learned.
This was different.
So, I sit next to him and he starts playing a little video.
Part way through the video he tells me that this is my birthday present. Again, confused but I sit there and watch it.
I find out that he had (several days ago) contributed to a Kickstarter. The project was started by a man and his daughter with the hopes of launching a TARDIS into space in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who. A T.A.R.D.I.S!!! How cool!!!
For my birthday, a couple of weeks early, I learned that my name will be on a hard drive floating around in space on this TARDIS!!! Seriously amazing! Why did the husband tell me early? Well, the Kickstarter project was just recently funded and went over the original asking amount.
