Happy Monday everyone! I have had to make some last minute shuffling with this weeks giveaway. Sorry for the late post. Because of the late time I will be extending this weeks giveaway by one day. Family Passport Wallet Tutorial

A few weeks ago I was browsing one of my favorite websites (Pinterest of course) and was searching for a family passport wallet tutorial. Sadly I am not looking for this for myself (I wish!) but for a couple of other families that I know. I was shocked that I couldn't find a tutorial anywhere. What do you do when you can't find what you want? You make it!! Family of 4 Passport Wallet Tutorial: What you will need: * 2 fat quarters *elastic or ribbon (4" in length) *button *water soluble marker *coordinating thread Using your two fat quarters (or equivalent fabric pieces) cut the following: Lining fabric: A. 9 1/2" X 4 1/4" B. 9 1/2" X 6 1/4" C. 9 1/2" X 8 1/4" Outer fabric: D. 9 1/2" X 8 1/4" Here we go! 1. Take piece A and fold down 1/2" on the 9 1/2" side. Iron crisp and sew using a 1/4" seam allowance. (please excuse my disgusting ironing board cover, it has been well used) 2

DIY: BB8 Costume

When I was little my mom made all of my Halloween costumes. I felt special and loved that my costumes were unique. Even before I had children I knew that I would make as many Halloween costumes as I could for them. I know that it is July but it is never too early to think about Halloween costumes (or convention costumes). Last year all of my children decided to dress as Star Wars the Force Awakens characters. My youngest chose BB8, her favorite character. It was a very easy costume to make and my little girl loved it! For this costume you will only need three items. You will need: 1 yard of white fleece 4 sheets of stiff orange felt (or 1/4 yard) 1 grey paint marker coordinating thread Step 1: Cut out 4 large circles. These need to be large enough for your child but not too large as they need to obtain their circular shape once worn. Cut 8 strips 4"x9" white fleece. These strips need to be large enough to fit your child's arms through. Step 2:
