A mini vacay

I have been a bit quiet on here the past several days. The reason? No kids!

The oldest two on their way to Nana's.

The youngest on her way to Oma's

A few weeks ago my mom told me that she would be coming up to pick up our oldest two girls for an entire week while they participated in VBS at my moms church. I was excited not only for the two girls to have some fun times at their Nana's but for me, the youngest and husband to have some quiet time together.

While on our Boulevard tour.

After finding out that the two oldest would be with their Nana for a week I later found that our youngest would have several days of one-on-one time with her Oma and Opa. Woohoo!!

Some great goodies found at a new store (I will write about this within the month).

Now take this great news of a nice break and add to it that the husband found out that he had Monday and Tuesday off of work. Oh. My. Goodness! Four days of zero kids! It is like we were in our first year of marriage all over again!

A beautiful old church we found in our neighborhood.

I had planned to have two weeks worth of posts written and scheduled but realized that this quietness and alone time does not come around often enough.

Instead, the husband and I went thrift store shopping, took a Boulevard tour, ate some great $1 tacos at a shop close to our house and ate some great food.

Wonderful $1 tacos and Mexican Coke. Yum!

It is taking a bit longer to get back into routine right now. I have some great posts scheduled for July. I will be focusing on DIY, reviews, cheap living, Pinterest Friday and will be adding in weekly fermentation posts.

I LOVE Miami Ice!
